One: Simple Journal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 31, 2026  ·  Last updated: March 31, 2026

The Short Version

One does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your journal entries live on your device and in your personal iCloud account — only you can access them.

Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. One does not have servers, databases, or accounts of any kind. There is no registration, login, or user profile.

All journal entries and app data are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage APIs, and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud Drive enabled. This sync is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

One does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. No data is sent to any third party.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's handling of payment information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud, your journal data syncs across your devices via your personal iCloud account. This data is protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption and is not accessible to us. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings.

Children's Privacy

One does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data at all, there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or similar regulations.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
